Facilities at Chris Thornton Racing
After working and living at Spigot Lodge for more than twenty years, in 2001 Chris converted a barn at Sharp Hill Farm, Middleham, into a training yard.
The barn was built to his own specification and contains stabling for 26 horses together with all the ancillary components (tack room, office, staff room, etc) necessary for a successful training establishment.

The facilities available to Chris are second to none with easy access to Middleham's Low Moor Gallop & schooling ground and Middleham's High Moor Gallop conveniently accessible via the Low Moor.

The success of any racing yard relies on team work and Chris is assisted by experienced staff who have remained loyal to him for many years.
