Thornton's ~ Sharp Hill Farm

| In 2001,
Chris converted a barn at Sharp Hill
Farm, Middleham, into a training yard. The barn contains stabling for 26 horses and all the
ancillary components (tack room, office, staff room, etc)
necessary for a successful training establishment. |

 Chris
has his own horse walker and a new access route direct to the
Middleham Low Moor Gallop which has a 'Polytrack' All-Weather
surface, as used at AW racecourses.

Stables: February - November 2001 |
| As
a 'stepping stone to his own, purpose-built yard, Chris rented
part of the Ashgill Stables yard from Tupgill Estate owner,
Colin Armstrong. |
Colin
invested time and expense carrying out renovation
work on the Estate and Ashgill Stables was part of this
programme of improvements.
